This Cookie Policy explains how Haelo (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on haelo.life. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and gather information about how you use the site.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags — where we refer to “cookies” in this policy, we mean all of these.
2. Your choice
When you first visit haelo.life, we show a banner asking you to Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always set; analytics cookies are only set after you accept.
We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under the key haelo-cookie-consent. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this value (using your browser’s site-data tools) and reloading the page — the banner will reappear.

Analytics — loaded only if you accept
We use these to understand which pages perform well and where to improve the experience. They are not loaded until you click Accept.

Always on (cookieless analytics)
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insightsfor aggregate visitor counts and Core Web Vitals. Both run cookielessly and use only short-lived, anonymous identifiers — no cross-site tracking and no personal data. Because they don’t fall under PECR’s consent requirement, they run for everyone.
4. Third parties
Where third parties are involved, we link to their own policies so you can read how they handle data:
- Google (Google Analytics)
- Vercel (hosting, web analytics, speed insights)
- Resend (transactional and waitlist emails — no website cookies)
5. Marketing & advertising
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies and do not share data with ad networks. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any such cookies are set.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also control and delete cookies through your browser. Most browsers allow you to:
- See what cookies are set and delete them individually or all at once;
- Block all cookies, or only third-party cookies;
- Set preferences for specific websites.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will update the “Last updated” date when we do. Material changes will be flagged via the cookie banner so you can re-confirm your choice.
