How it works
Intelligence that
adapts to you.
An honest forecast at the front door. Pattern learning from your season, and daily action backed by live research, behind it.
Layer one
Forecast — honest, per species.
Most pollen apps stop at a regional number stretched across 14 days. Haelo stops where the evidence stops — and goes deeper where the data actually holds up. Five days, broken out by species, with hourly detail for tomorrow.
5-day, per species
The forecast, broken out
Birch, alder, grass and mugwort — each on its own track, so you can see which one is driving today and what's coming next. Hourly resolution for tomorrow, with your personal threshold overlaid once the app has learned it.
- → Per-species: birch, alder, grass, mugwort
- → Hourly for tomorrow
- → Personal threshold overlay (Premium)
- → Postcode-level lookup
- → No 14-day theatre
Source-transparent
Where the data comes from
We name our sources inline — CAMS Copernicus, Ambee and OpenWeatherMap — so you can see what's behind every number. A district-level accuracy badge, fed by community ratings, shows how the forecast has been performing in your area.

Layer two
Understand — your patterns.
A forecast tells you what's in the air. It can't tell you why your Tuesdays are worse. Haelo correlates your symptoms with Apple Health signals, behaviour and the forecast itself — and learns the personal threshold at which your season actually kicks in.
Symptom logging
Quick, low-friction daily check-ins. Rate your eyes, nose, energy and focus. Connected automatically to today's forecast and your daily habits.
Apple Health signals
Sleep, HRV and respiratory rate, alongside the medications, supplements, food and activity you log. Haelo learns which variables track with better or worse days for you specifically.
Personal threshold
From a few weeks of logs the app learns the pollen level at which your symptoms reliably start — and flags the days that need attention before they do.
Layer three
Act — today's advice.
Haelo's research engine continuously searches academic databases, grades evidence quality, and translates findings into specific, personal recommendations — delivered before you need them.
Daily push — example
Today's grass pollen is high — but you usually peak 90 minutes after heading outside. The riverside route runs 40% lower today. Quercetin now would be active by your lunch walk.
Evidence-graded research
Every recommendation is graded by evidence quality. Strong clinical trial evidence is treated differently to preliminary findings. Haelo never overstates what the science supports.
