How it works

Intelligence that
adapts to you.

Haelo is built on three layers that work together — sensing your real environment, learning your patterns, and acting on the latest science.

Layer one

Sense — your real air.

Most people manage hayfever using regional pollen counts — averages across wide areas that tell you very little about what you personally are breathing. Haelo measures your actual exposure in your breathing zone, continuously.

Haelo Clip — coming soon

Wearable air sampling

A small clip that attaches to your lapel or collar, drawing air across a particle sensor and measuring what you're breathing in real time. Machine learning estimates pollen and other allergens in your breathing zone — not a county average.

  • Particle sensing in your breathing zone
  • Temperature, humidity and pressure tracking
  • VOC and NOx air quality signals
  • Bluetooth streaming to the Haelo app
  • 3-day battery, USB-C charge

Without the Clip

App-only mode

Haelo works standalone on your phone — integrating local pollen forecasts, GPS location data and environmental API feeds to estimate your exposure. Pair the Clip later to unlock full personal measurement.

Layer two

Understand — your patterns.

Exposure data alone isn't enough. Haelo correlates what you breathed with how you felt, what you ate, where you went and what interventions you tried — surfacing connections that explain your best days and your worst.

Symptom logging

Quick, low-friction daily check-ins. Rate your eyes, nose, energy and focus. Linked automatically to your exposure and behaviour data.

Behaviour tracking

Log medications, supplements, food, sleep and activity. Haelo learns which variables correlate with better or worse days for you specifically.

Pattern discovery

The platform surfaces patterns automatically. Why were your Tuesdays worse? What did your best week last June have in common? Now you'll know.

Layer three

Act — today's advice.

Haelo's research engine continuously searches academic databases, grades evidence quality, and translates findings into specific, personal recommendations — delivered before you need them.

Daily push — example

Today's grass pollen is high — but you usually peak 90 minutes after heading outside. The riverside route runs 40% lower today. Quercetin now would be active by your lunch walk.

Evidence-graded research

Every recommendation is graded by evidence quality. Strong clinical trial evidence is treated differently to preliminary findings. Haelo never overstates what the science supports.
